Welcome to Albany Hills Outside School Hours Care Program. We, the educators and Management Committee are looking forward to caring for your children and forming a meaningful and lasting relationship with you and your family.
At the Albany Hills OSHC we provide care before and after school, on pupil free days and during school term holidays, for children between 5 – 12 years of age including high school children upon application.
By focusing on providing stimulating social and recreational activities for school age children in a safe and caring environment, we create constructive opportunities for the enjoyment of your child’s leisure time. Our program is developed & guided by the ‘My Time, Our Place’ national framework for Outside School Hours Services.
Your Coordinator is Kym Connelly. Kym has her Bachelor of Social Science and Associate Diploma in Children’s Services. Kym is assisted by Nick Stephan, Adam Morrow & Darrell Millard. Nick holds his Cert IV in OSHC and a Diploma of Children Services. Adam is studying his Bachelor of Paramedicine. Darrell is studying his Bachelor of Primary Education (Physical Education).
We also employ a number of other permanent and casual educators. All staff are qualified in First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis management and hold a current working with children suitability card. Educators photos and information are on display in the foyer entrance of the main OSHC building. Many of our educators currently hold qualifications in children’s services or studying in the field of education or human services.
